📖 Description
Vintage 1980 Star Wars Burger King intact 3-panel trading card strip, professionally graded and encapsulated by PSA as PSA 7 NM with certification number 149549758. The PSA label identifies the strip as “1980 STAR WARS YODA/DARTH/CHASE BURGER KING-PANEL,” and the visible front panels feature classic original trilogy imagery with the printed captions:
YODA,THE JEDI MASTER
DARTH VADER AND BOBA FETT
CHASE THROUGH THE ASTEROIDS!
This Burger King 3-panel format was part of the Everybody Wins trading card game distributed through Burger King stores in 1980. Intact 3-panel examples can be harder to locate in graded form because many surviving examples were separated at the perforations into individual cards. This example remains in its intact vertical perforated strip format, giving it strong display appeal for vintage Star Wars, Burger King, and original trilogy trading card collectors.
The imagery includes Yoda, performed and voiced by Frank Oz; Darth Vader, physically portrayed by David Prowse and voiced by James Earl Jones; Boba Fett, performed by Jeremy Bulloch and voiced by Jason Wingreen in the original trilogy; and Lando Calrissian, played by Billy Dee Williams. The lower panel shows the Millennium Falcon and TIE fighters in an asteroid field scene tied to the visible “CHASE THROUGH THE ASTEROIDS!” caption.
Visible back text includes:
STAR WARS
THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK
EVERYBODY WINS™ TRADING CARDS
There are 36 Different Trading Cards in the Everybody Wins™ Game, so you can save them or trade them with your friends.
Play Everybody Wins™ again the next time you visit BURGER KING®. Game ends July 30, 1981 or when game card supplies run out.
The back also shows Burger King and Coca-Cola logos, with visible copyright and ownership text referencing Lucasfilm, Ltd. and Burger King Corporation. This is not a standard Topps issue; it is a Burger King 3-panel trading card strip tied to the 1980 store-distributed Everybody Wins game.
Population data should be reviewed separately, but intact graded 3-panel examples are a distinct collecting format compared with separated single panels. With its recognizable Yoda, Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Lando Calrissian, and asteroid chase imagery, this slabbed PSA 7 example offers a strong vintage Star Wars display piece for an organized graded-card collection.
MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU….. ALWAYS!
