📖 Description
Vintage 1980 Star Wars Burger King 3-Panel Trading Card featuring the slab label title “DARK/IMPERIAL/DROIDS,” professionally graded by PSA as PSA 7 with certification number 149549756.
This intact Burger King 3-panel trading card strip features three connected perforated panels with the visible front captions:
THE DARK LORD OF THE SITH
IMPERIAL STORMTROOPER
DROIDS INSIDE THE REBEL BASE
The panels show Darth Vader, an Imperial Stormtrooper, and the droids C-3PO and R2-D2 inside the Rebel base. This is a strong original trilogy display piece with highly recognizable Star Wars character imagery across all three connected panels.
This item is part of the Burger King Everybody Wins trading card game era. These cards were distributed through Burger King stores in 1980 with purchase as part of the Everybody Wins trading card game. Intact 3-panel examples can be harder to locate in graded form because many surviving examples were separated at the perforations into individual cards. Population data should be reviewed separately, but intact graded 3-panel examples are a distinct collecting format compared with separated single panels.
The card back shows repeated Empire Strikes Back Everybody Wins trading card text. Legible visible back text includes:
STAR WARS
THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK
